Cannabis Advisory Committee To Hold Virtual Meetings

SACRAMENTO – The Bureau of Cannabis Control (Bureau) announced today that the Cannabis Advisory Committee will be holding three virtual meetings in May.

On Monday, May 17, there will be a subcommittee meeting held to discuss License Types beginning at 10:00 a.m. There will also be a subcommittee meeting held Wednesday, May 19 to discuss Enforcement beginning at 10:00 a.m. Lastly, the full Cannabis Advisory Committee will be meeting Tuesday, May 25th. Attendees will have plenty of opportunity to provide public comment during these meetings. Please join us and participate in this important process.

The Cannabis Advisory Committee advises the Bureau, the California Department of Food and Agriculture, and the California Department of Public Health on the development of regulations that help protect public health and safety and do not perpetuate the illegal market for cannabis.
