Renew your license
You can renew your license no earlier than 60 calendar days before the expiration of the license or up to 30 calendar days after the license expires. Exceptions may apply to cultivation license types. Learn more in this article: Cultivation license change options during renewal.
Starting the renewal
When your license expiration is within the 60-calendar day window for renewal, there are two ways to initiate the renewal of your license.
One way is through the “Action” column. Select “Renew License” link to begin renewal. You can also click in the column titled “License Number” by clicking the license number you would like to renew.
Note: Be sure you renew before your expiration date, shown clearly in the “Expires On” column. On the day the license expires, if you haven’t yet renewed, the Designated Responsible Party (DRP) will receive an e-mail stating you can still renew after paying a late fee penalty which is 50% of your renewal fee.
Another way to start the renewal is by selecting the “license number”. Next, select the “Renew License” button in the lower right corner of the screen.
Renewal information
After selecting the link to begin, the first screen shows basic information about your license. You cannot make changes to the fields listed here, except the Adult-Use/Medicinal Designations.
If changes are needed, you can submit a Form DCC LIC 27: Notifications and Requests to Modify a License and/or a Science Amendment.
When renewing your license, you can change the current designation as either Medicinal or Adult-Use. To change your Current Designation to a new designation (if so desired) select the Yes button. Your New Designation will automatically display. Select “Continue” Application to move on to the next page.
