Manufacturing license renewals and applications will be migrating to the Accela platform next month.
CALIFORNIA – DCC will be transferring all manufacturing license and application data from its current PEGA system to the Accela CLEaR system on November 16, 2023. From November 16, 2023, forward, manufacturing licensees and applicants will manage and renew their licenses in the Accela CLEaR system. Any businesses seeking a manufacturing license will also utilize the Accela CLEaR system to apply for the license.
Historical data on manufacturing licenses, and any applications submitted and currently under review, will be converted from the PEGA Manufacturing Cannabis License System (MCLS) to the Accela CLEaR system. DCC will share additional information about how licensees and applicants can access their data in the new system closer to the migration date.
For licensees who are renewing during this period, please submit your renewal by October 31, 2023, in advance of the data migration activities. During the period of unavailability, applicants and licensees who need to submit applications should contact DCC at licensing@cannabis.ca.gov.
